The Reeds Road School Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) program emphasizes values through the acronym B.A.R.K., which stands for Best Effort, Always Cooperating, Respect for All, and Kindness Matters. Students from kindergarten to sixth grade are encouraged to embody these principles daily, fostering a positive and supportive school environment. This approach aims to promote behavioral, social, and emotional development among students by reinforcing positive behaviors and interactions. Students earn BARK tickets for exhibiting these attributes, which can be redeemed for various prizes. Additionally, the tickets provide students with entries into the monthly raffle, where they have a chance to win exciting prizes.
Each day I come to school, I promise to follow the B.A.R.K. rules!
B Is for best effort: I will always try my hardest and never give up.
A Is for always cooperate: I will work together with others to make school a great place to be.
R Is for respect: I will treat my school, my friends, and my teachers with the kindness and care.
K Is for kindness matters: I will be helpful, friendly, and make people smile.
